Digital Media Creation Stations
The Digital Media Creation Stations (DMCS) facilitate the production of digital instructional materials at Franklin & Marshall. These powerful computer workstations include hardward and software for the acquisition and editing of 35mm slides, printed images, digital audio, and digital video. The DMCS is located within ATS in Stager 023.
Media Center
The Media Center provides access to the College collection of non-print educational resources including videotape, DVD, audio CD, cassette, phono, and associated computer software. The Media Center supports replication of appropriate instructional media on cassette and VHS tape as well as DVD authoring. The Media Center is located within ATS in Stager 023.
eLearning Laboratory
The eLearning Laboratory, or eLL, is a state-of-the-art space supports flexible teaching styles and collaborative student learning. This prototype teaching and learning space provides students and faculty access to innovative digital instructional media construction, creation, collaboration, and presentation tools, and internet-based telecommunications technologies. The eLL is located within ATS in Stager 029.
Media Studio
The Media Studio in ATS is designed to promote the diffusion of new instructional technology applications at the College. This multi-use facility contains a combination of hardware and software designed to enhance the instructional development production and distribution process. The Media Studio is located in Stager 009.
Technology-Enhanced Classrooms
Technology Enhanced Classrooms (TECs) managed by ATS include classrooms in Appel, Hackman, Keiper, Kaufman, and Stager. A complete list of all ATS-managed Technology Enhanced Classroom spaces is available online.
