From faculty lectures to student presentations, displaying multimedia information is a cornerstone of classroom instruction. Technology Enhanced Classrooms (TECs) provide the necessary built-in hardware to make such multimedia presentations possible, and when appropriate, contain a suite of standard software. Available in Appel, Hackman, Keiper, Kaufman, and Stager, ATS-managed TEC-rooms are available in a variety of configurations including Computer-TECs, Video-TECs, and Hybrid-TECs.
A complete list of all ATS-managed Technology Enhanced Classroom spaces is available online. QuickStarts are available to facilitate ease-of-use of TEC-rooms.
NOTE: While Technology Enhanced Classrooms are managed operationally by ATS, requests for teaching in a TEC should be made with the Office of the Registrar.
