eDisk

eDisk is personal space for electronic document storage and information exchange for Franklin & Marshall students and faculty that is available everywhere...at least everywhere there's a computer connected to the internet!

eDisk supports both file- and web-sharing and provides private and public access. Franklin & Marshall students can use their eDisks to store assignments, to move files from computer to computer at school and at home, to publish digital, "virtual" portfolios, or just create personalized web sites!

eDisk for College faculty also includes e-space for exchanging files and web-based information with students registered in Franklin & Marshall courses. In the Courses sections of faculty eDisks, access to the course-specific information is available only to students officially registered in these courses. Here, students are able to submit files for a course or access information unique to a course.

eDisk is easy to use and flexible. Files can be accessed from Macintosh and Windows computers with access to the internet. eDisk also supports multiple file sharing protocols including AppleShare, SMB, FTP, and HTTP. So whether you're using the CHOOSER or a web browser, your eDisk information will be available to you and others.
